College and Graduate School Admissions Consultants

With College Matters, you can rest easy knowing that we place just as much emphasis on exploring the unique attributes of each student and family as we do on researching the strengths, specialties, and personalities of hundreds of colleges and universities all across the country.

You will be guided through the whole admission process, from identifying educational institutions that best meet student’s needs and goals to navigating the intricacies of the application and financial aid processes.

With honest, informed, and objective guidance, we match students to their “best fit” colleges or universities. Then, we coach students through the details, making sure they stay motivated and hit their deadlines.

The result? A low-stress, organized, and manageable search that ends with a great college or graduate school experience.

One-on-One Approach to the Application Process

We are available and ready when you are!

We have students in twenty-three states and six foreign countries. We are happy to meet you online via Zoom or Google meet — and can adjust our schedule for your time zone.

From preparing for high school to planning your Ph.D., College Matters has options to support you each step of the way.

MORE THAN 50 CAMPUS VISITS EVERY YEAR

One of the benefits we offer is our ability to provide you with “on the ground” previews of colleges and universities before you invest in a campus visit.

We visit schools across the country, meeting with admissions professionals, talking with students, sitting in on classes, and just observing and soaking in the atmosphere. The “insiders’ knowledge” we gain from these visits enables us to help you prune your list of visits down to a strategically chosen and affordable size.

In today’s admissions climate, this is more important than ever because increasing numbers of institutions consider students’ demonstrated interest—i.e., whether or not they visit campus—to be a significant factor in the admission decision.

We’ve visited hundreds of campuses and continue visiting—or revisiting—at least fifty more each year.
